Work Trade for Room at Alpaca Themed Retreat

Seeking individuals who want to live in a semi-rustic manner in a rural setting 25 minutes east of Austin just past the airport. Participate in building out an Alpaca-themed retreat center! Furnished lodging available at the Austin Alpaca Playhouse for someone interested in working on landscaping and/or house management projects. House has lots of amenities including: * Award-winning sauna * Icy-cold plunge bath * Large fully-stocked kitchen * Indoor and outdoor dining areas * Multiple indoor an outdoor lounge areas * Beautiful pastoral setting * Exercise equipment and yoga space * High-fi sound system throughout house * Air conditioning throughout * Ethereal-style outdoor lighting * Adorable ALPACA!!! Work-trade for rustic living space, shared bathrooms and access to all property amenities. Live for free with 10 hours / week of work in private room. Option to pay rent and in-lieu of work-trade. Roughly $20/hour equivalent pay depending on skills. Option to work more hours for additional income with the right skill-set. Possibility for higher pay for higher skill-set. Help needed in the following areas: 1) Landscaping and land management 2) Building - structures/fencing 2) House operations & beautification - cleaning and developing organizational systems Requirements: You should be aligned and inspired by the idea of building a transformative space where people can commune with nature, animals and each other in a playful environment. You must be serious and motivated to improve the property with a professional attitude. This job requires consistency, reliability, and excellent communication skills. Basic phone and computer skills required. If you are flaky at all, this is not for you. Willingness to live with occasional noise and events on site. A car is highly recommended as there is very little within walking distance and no public transportation nearby. This is a very serious undertaking, with the goal of creating an extremely playful and wonderful experience for retreat guests. Option for short term (2-3 months) or longer.
